FAQ
Q1: My new car is still under the manufacturers warranty; can I still use Aylesbury Autocare to save on servicing costs?
Yes you can. New laws now allow us to complete your annual service requirements and wear and tear items such as brakes, discs, wipers etc at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer without invalidating the manufacturers warranty.
Q2: When should I change my engine oil?
It largely depends on how you drive. If you do a lot of short journeys and ‘around town’ driving, we recommend oil changes at 6000 miles.
Q2: Are you able to stamp my service history book and reset the service interval light?
Yes we are able to stamp your service history book, which confirms that your car has been serviced regularly.
Q3: What if my car fails the MOT test?
You can leave your car with us for the repairs. You can also take your vehicle away and get it repaired at another garage of your choice. Providing the vehicle is brought back for retest within ten working days from the date of issue, no retest fee will be incurred.
Q4: Am I able to wait whilst my car is with you?
Of course. We have a comfortable waiting area and if you have your laptop you can make use of our wireless broadband.
Q5: I need a replacement vehicle whilst my car is being serviced? No problem.
Subject to availability and certain insurance conditions, Aylesbury Autocare is able to provide you with a courtesy car.
Q6: I work during the day and will find it difficult to drop my car to the garage?
Again no problem. We are able to offer a pick up and drop off service. Our driver will pick up the vehicle from your home or place of work in the morning and drop it back once the work has been completed. You are able to pay by credit/ debit card over the phone.
Q7: Would I be able to inspect the dismantled parts from my car?
Yes of course. You are able to inspect any parts that have been removed or dismantled from your car up until the end of the working day.
